Welcome to the website of 911 Locksmith (referred to as "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing, browsing, or using our website or booking our locksmith services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately cease all access to our website and decline our services. These Terms apply to all users, clients, property representatives, and visitors who access our website or utilize our services throughout Maryland and surrounding service areas.

Verification of Ownership & Access Rights
To ensure the safety, security, and legality of our locksmith procedures, 911 Locksmith enforces strict authorization protocols across all residential, commercial, and automotive jobs. We will not bypass, repair, re-key, or replace security hardware on any property or vehicle without first verifying your authorization.
Before performing any lockout entry or lock modification, the customer MUST present: (1) A valid, government-issued photo ID; and (2) Definitive proof of ownership or legal tenancy — such as a utility bill matching the name and address, a current lease agreement, or a vehicle registration matching the presented ID.
Our dispatchers and technicians reserve the right to refuse service to any individual who fails to provide satisfactory documentation, displays suspicious behavior, or cannot establish undisputed access rights to the home, commercial office, or vehicle in question. This policy applies to all services including residential lockouts, commercial lock changes, and automotive key replacements.
Pricing, Estimates & Payments
911 Locksmith is committed to transparent, honest pricing. The financial terms of our service engagements are outlined below.
Service Call / Diagnostic Fee
A standard service call fee is charged for dispatching a licensed technician to your location to evaluate the hardware and determine the appropriate solution. This fee covers travel time and on-site diagnosis. The diagnostic fee is non-refundable and is due upon the technician's arrival, regardless of whether you proceed with the recommended repair or installation.
Quotes & Estimates
Any price estimates provided over the phone or online are preliminary figures based on your description of the lock or vehicle problem. The final price will be determined on-site by our technician after evaluating the condition of the door frame, alignment, lock wear, key cylinder, or safe mechanism. You will be informed of the actual cost before any work begins — no surprises.
Payment Methods
Payment is due in full upon completion of the service. We accept credit cards, debit cards, cash, and authorized commercial accounts. We do not accept personal checks. For commercial clients with approved accounts, invoicing terms may apply — contact us for details.
Cancellation & Dispatch Policy
Because emergency lockout and lock services require immediate coordination and dispatching of trained technicians, the following cancellation policy applies to all service requests:
- Free Cancellations You may cancel your service request without penalty within ten (10) minutes of booking the call, provided a technician has not yet been dispatched.
- Late Cancellations If you cancel after a technician has already been dispatched and is en route to your location, you will be billed for the standard service call fee.
- No-Show Policy If the technician arrives on-site and you are not present, or you cannot provide verified entry authorization at the time of service, the service call fee remains due.
- Rescheduling We are happy to reschedule your appointment at no charge when notified with sufficient advance notice. Please call us directly to reschedule.
Limitation of Liability
Locksmith services can involve mechanical bypass, key cutting, door frame adjustments, safe drilling, and physical lock modifications. By approving our work, you acknowledge and agree to the following limitations:
Property Wear & Damage
In some situations — such as locked doors with broken internal latches, high-security deadbolts, or damaged ignition cylinders — non-destructive entry may be impossible. Our technician will fully explain if destructive entry is required before proceeding. 911 Locksmith is not liable for structural wear, pre-existing door frame damage, or damage that arises from necessary access bypasses that have been approved by the customer.
Smart Lock & Electronic Systems
Installation and repair of smart locks, electronic keypad systems, and biometric locks involve device firmware and third-party hardware. 911 Locksmith is not liable for data loss, connectivity failures, or software errors related to third-party smart lock systems after installation is complete.
Product Warranties
We stand behind our workmanship. New locks, smart deadbolts, high-security locks, and commercial hardware installed by our team are subject to the manufacturer's product warranty. Our labor warranty covers installation alignment and mechanical function for a period of thirty (30) days from the service date.
Damages Cap
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 911 Locksmith's total liability for any claims, actions, or damages arising out of our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that specific service call.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions, and any disputes arising from your relationship with 911 Locksmith, shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of these Terms or our services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in or serving Anne Arundel County, Maryland. By using our services, you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
